Hello all,
I will try my best to blog as much as I can, but no promises until I graduate in May. Some of you already know me, but for those of you who do not, my name is Maggie and I am the current President of the Alpha Chapter of Nu Sigma Chi Sorority. The sorority was founded by 35 members in 1928 at the State University College at Cortland. These charter members, along with Dr. Degroat, a professor at the time, raised enough money to build a house on property close to campus. The house is four stories and over 11,000 square feet. There are 18 bedrooms and room choice is based on sorority membership seniority points. The house has been renovated through the efforts of many of the sisters, such as the basement living room area and the kitchen was repainted and re-organized. There are many other updates, but I've been slowly re-doing the website and am quite tired on this Friday night!
